This blogging questionnaire celebrates Three Weeks for Dreamwidth (April 25-May 15). See the questionnaire introduction post.
What are your favorite things about Dreamwidth? What do you dislike about it? What do you wish it had, or had more of?
I enjoy the community here. I also really like the robust tools for privacy and moderation.
I'm frustrated that it's so hard to find active communities. Also the image hosting isn't very good.
I wish that Dreamwidth had an alphabetical list of communities, preferably including a note about activity; and an alphabetical list of feeds. I wish the Interests algorithm was smart enough to detect variations of words and phrases instead of only exact ones, and to search for them in the names of communities instead of just the Interests list that not everyone even bothers to fill out. It would also help to have a frequency indicator for communities that are active in a specific period (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally, annually).
I wish that Dreamwidth had more than just a photostream, so you could put images into files and make them easier to find again later.
