What is your blog metaphor? Where are you, when you are in your blog?
My blog is a combination living room / office. It's a mix of personal and business content, and those two rooms are adjacent in my house.

Interesting question...
Date: 2023-05-02 06:21 pm (UTC)Though she wants to be read, as any writer does, the Bohemian Crip has stopped asking for permission to put her stuff out and has largely stopped seeking respectability. At times I think it's my most real voice.

Re: Interesting question...
Date: 2023-05-02 07:38 pm (UTC)I have a large farmhouse, there are 2 of us living in it, and it is FULL. Mostly of books. The last time we counted was many years ago, and there were over 10,000 volumes then. Our Pagan collection alone is over 1,000 titles.
It's mostly bohemian decor too; I was raised by hippies. The fairy window is full of plants and suncatchers and windchimes. I have a handmade rug tapestry on my office wall -- you know, like the braided rugs, but parallel lines in kind of a V shape. The upstairs bedroom has one wall completely covered by a Persian rug that Mom got when I was little.

Re: Interesting question...
Date: 2023-05-02 08:50 pm (UTC)Okay, towel racks are easy to install, but if you have a pervasive storage problem I'd look at an over-the-toilet rack to add lots of storage.
Consider going room-by-room to assess what storage you have and where you could add more. Then visit a real storage / organization store if you can find one, or storage aisles in hardware and home improvement stores. They will have lots of dedicated products that make for very efficient storage of diverse things. Some are really obscure, or do double-duty, like storage ottomans. Others have furniture that stores compactly when not in use, like gateleg tables.
