The reason for this community is to keep a running list of deadlines for different writing communities, icon challenges, and fests. There will be a main post that is sticky and is always updated with what is coming up. There will be a second sticky post that people can comment on to provide new entries that will be added to the main sticky post. And finally, there will be once a week posts that announce what is closing that coming week.

Does anyone else know of more calendar/event communities? These are really useful, but also really hard to find because people usually don't put "calenders," "events," "fests," etc. in the Interests to make them searchable.
